Hey y'all! The domesticated doggos of today are nothing like their ancestors who had to fend for themselves in the wild, rather they've been quite cuddled by us humans, and justifiably so. Doggos of today, at least the ones owned and cared for by humans, experience quite a different set of feelings and instincts than their hunter gatherer ancestors. They are what you call…derps.
We love our dogs, they are our babies, and we treat them as such. But do you ever stop while your doggo is in the middle of a huge obnoxious sneeze where the end up scaring themselves and looking confused, to think 'how did this derp descend from powerful beasts, he wouldn't make it one day alone in the wild.' Then you might have something in common with the group of Redditors featured today. This squad laughs at the idea of their doggos ever being able to manage in the wild, good thing they don't have to, they've got their trusty hoomans to snuggle and kiss them for years to come.
